What Is Teeth Whitening?

Professional teeth whitening is a cosmetic treatment that helps reduce stains and discoloration on natural teeth. Over time, foods, beverages, and everyday habits can cause teeth to lose their brightness. Teeth naturally become more dull as we age, as well. Professional whitening treatments use specially formulated whitening agents that are stronger and more effective than over-the-counter products while being administered or recommended by a trained dental professional. The result is a noticeably brighter smile from treatment options tailored to your needs.

Benefits of Professional Teeth Whitening at Stokes Orthodontics

Professional whitening is one of the quickest ways to refresh your smile. Whether you’re preparing for an important event or simply want to feel more confident in your look, whitening can provide noticeable improvements to your smile’s appearance.

A whiter smile can boost your confidence during everyday conversations, photos, and special occasions.

Professional treatments are designed to deliver more noticeable and consistent whitening than most store-bought products.

At Stokes Orthodontics, you can choose between an in-office treatment for fast & effective whitening or a take-home gel option that fits your schedule.

You don’t have to be an orthodontic patient with us to enjoy professional teeth whitening at Stokes Orthodontics. Everyone is welcome to get a brighter smile!

What To Expect During Teeth Whitening Treatment

Getting started is simple. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your smile goals and help you determine which whitening option is right for you.

  1. We’ll examine your smile, answer your questions, and recommend either in-office Zoom Whitening or a take-home gel treatment based on your goals.

  2. If you choose Zoom Whitening, your treatment is completed in our office. If you choose take-home whitening, we’ll provide instructions and everything you need to safely whiten your teeth at home.

  3. Whitening your teeth professionally is a relatively quick process, no matter if you do it at home or in the office. Once your treatment is complete, you’ll likely notice immediate results and a more confident look!
